Underwriting Assistant: This position requires 3+ years of auto and general liability commercial rating experience. All lines rating and coverage experience a plus. Responsibilities include a high degree of customer service, processing of new and renewal business. Rating and issuance of policies and endorsements. Issuing binders, billing, processing endorsements, audits, requesting and review of loss control, entering all data in information management system while meeting all company standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of ISO rating guidelines
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong customer service focus with the ability to effectively muti-task with limited direction
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment
• High degree of proficiency in various software programs including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel
